Akillis expands its art of jewelry tattoo with the Animal Tattoo collection, a bestiary of exclusive pendants inspired by terrestrial and marine species with ultra-graphic lines.

A great adventurer, Caroline Gaspard has selected five animals from across the globe that embody the freedom she holds dear. Jaguars, lions, zebras from the savannah, koalas, and manta rays are intricately designed, offering a fresh interpretation of the genre.

Through a play of openwork and solid forms, these skin engravings will become one with those who choose to make them their own.

To bring out the character and personality of each animal, the Akillis workshops have employed the extreme precision of laser technology, meticulously calibrated to create the Animal Tattoo pieces in a single, seamless cut.

The 18k white gold versions, paved with G-VS quality diamonds, gaze at us with gemstone eyes - tsavorites, sapphires, Paraíba tourmalines, and black diamonds - boldly showcasing the unique temperament of each Animal Tattoo.

Crafted from 18k white gold and titanium, these pieces once again showcase the remarkable expertise of the Maison in working with noble and complex materials. With Akillis' unwavering commitment to excellence, the black and white bicolored versions in 18k gold undergo a black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) treatment - a cutting-edge technique commonly used in fine watchmaking and aerospace.

The workshop enlisted the skill of a specialized artisan, who meticulously protected the areas meant to remain in white gold, before applying the deep black Diamond-Like Carbon to the remaining contours, like a bold ink. This material lends such lightness to the pieces that they become almost imperceptible when worn.
